Rosebowl Drama Festival, 2009:

Well done to everyone who took part. Congratulations to Olivia Draper, member of SPACE and director of the play from 'Vouni Indpendent Players' (VIPs) who were awarded this year's Rosebowl & Thomas Trophies for their performance of 'The Dresser'. [More info coming soon]

Panto 2009 Awards:

Congratulations Tom Mills, winner of both the "Ronnie" award as 'personality of the panto', and the "Sidney Bowman Young Person of the Year" 2009.

In memory of Alan Churcher 25/10/48 - 22/02/09

SPACE pays tribute to Alan Churcher who suddenly passed away on 22th February 2009.

Alan was a keen actor and appeared in many productions over recent years at SPACE, Shakespeare at Curium, The Premier Group, Cyprus Rosebowl Festival (winning director in 2007!) as well as many other private and/or impromptu performances.

Alan was a fantastic musician and singer who entertained thousands of people over just the last few years alone, he was very much into Jazz, most recently sang as Roy Orbison in Stars in your Eyes and played a mean harmonica!

Alan's final performance was as 'Jaberwock' in "Mother Goose" the Pantomime, Jan-Feb 2009.

Well done to everyone involved in the Christmas Showcase on Wednesday 17th December. It was fantastic to see all the Youth members involved on stage with many new faces treading the boards at SPACE for the first time, too.
